Charles Hudson's Blog: I’m Finally Giving Up on MobileMe

No support for contact group syncing: I have a mobile group that appears on my iphone and in the mac address book. So while every contact gets synced to my iphone, I am able to look at only the mobile group which is a much more manageable list for that device.

That's a good workaround solution. It would be a more manageable way to browse my contacts. However, simply having all of them in my address book makes it very slow to simply browse through my contacts.

No support for my primary email address(es): I use gmail for my gmail email and my domain email address. The iphone mail program supports gmail extremely well. So from my iphone I can send and receive from my gmail or domain account. I guess mobileme is not giving me any benefits but my point is it's not hindering me either.

You definitely need to cut on your gadgets. 3 laptops :-O .. and why do you need a touch when you have an iphone? :-/

Oh, I bought the iPod Touch before I bought the iPhone. And I like using the
Touch around the house as a remote control and to stream music.

As for the laptops, I have two work laptops and a personal one. I know, it's
    kind of crazy.
